Directly after the end of the Second World War the society began to consider that the world’s basic principles are plain and consistent . Both global politics and social relations were relying on the concepts of progress , positive change , trust in the logical , awareness , technological advancement , and the potential to reason any happening from a logical standpoint . Notwithstanding , beginning from the second half of the 60’s, the world has begun to degrade and currently , 40 years after , we find ourselves in a transformed kind of existence .
We without any problems note those innovations which are given us by new technology, but we almost never are aware of the fact that there are specific thoughts which the author has put behind those inventions . The essence of the upcoming change was at first found by those people, who as a rule lived anteceding their time – writers and authors. Among the numerous authors whose works have served for amusement , there have been a few who have given people a new picture of the future . One of the most interesting angle of their writing is that in mostly they have evoked the audience interest in books and written works. In this aspect one of the most interesting success stories is that of a famous writer Anne Bronte .
The success of Joan Rowling can be considered phenomenal as she has found herself to be the first author in the world to make $1 billion by authoring fairytales. She is currently spending a considerable part of her profit on charity, confronting poverty and diseases. The idea of the book was invented while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first agreed to bring out her book, she has given her 1500 pounds together with a loving advice — to look for a stable job. He was doubtful of the fact that the young author would be able to make a living off of writing books. Joann has proved the opposite - having produced a number of amazing fairytales, she has made the so-called non-reading generation get back to reading.
This paper cannot enumerate and more or less accurately list all writers who have given their gift to the today’s literature. They have been writing and putting ideas directly into the minds of the people, and thus were influencing the future. therefore, as we can see, these authors were not creating for entertainment only, but they were also playing a considerable role in creating the culture and the looks of a society of the 20th century.
